The Societies of Photographers - Photographer of the Year finalist

I joined the leading professional network of photographers a few months ago and as mentioned in a previous post I have had some success with the monthly competitions.  At the end of each year three images are chosen from each category (and they vary from portrait, to wildlife to landscape and more) to be put forward for a photographer of the year award.  I was flabbergasted when i received an email last week to say that i was a finalist in the Landscape category.  So whatever happens I am at least third (and hopefully higher) as Landscape Photographer of the Year with the Societies of Photographers.  It also means a posh dinner in London on Saturday 13th January which i am going to with my husband Alan.   Wish me luck !!

The Societies website is and I would encourage any photographers to join.
